Same team, brand evolution

You may have caught the news that Bullseye has been 100% acquired by Ogilvy Australia. A very popular move from both sides, this will likely start transitioning pretty soon.

The thing I’ve found most interesting is the strategic leadership decision not to create a separate digital division at Ogilvy, but rather to blend the two strengths into one integrated team. The reality in a post-digital era and staying ahead of the pack, is that we absolutely must remain client focused. And genuinely walk the talk.

A separate digital division would not have been as client focused – digital is so immeshed in marketing strategy, it no longer makes sense to separate it as an activity.

It makes me pretty proud that we will be doing just that – integration ahead of egos.

Actually, we are all pretty excited by what lies ahead for our clients.
